There was a little scare about the world coming to an end in May but as you can see WE ARE STILL HERE!
Now there is a BIG scare that the world will end in 2012, December 21st 2012 to be exact. Should we be scared or worried?
NO!
John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
God is the one who created the world. God is the one who created the Bible so He could communicate with us so He is the ONLY one who can tell us the world is coming to an end. So unless God personal comes down on this Earth and tell you, don't believe it!
Scientist are the ones who came up with the predictions because they are not true believers in God. They can't believe that a spiritual being created us and the world we live in. Since they can't physically see God they don't believe in Him so they spend time and money researching things trying to find a physical reason that we are here exsisting on this Earth.
If you are truely scared or worried about the end of the world and being judged you can start right now by preparing yourself for your eternal life.
Step 1: Get Saved
If you need help with this visit the homepage of this site or go to your nearest Church.
Step 2: Build a Relationship with the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.
If you need help with building a relationship with God visit the "Being God's Child" link on this site. Once you build a relationship with God and believe that Jesus died on the cross to save you from your sins, you will be filled with the Holy Spirit.
Step 3: Improve yourself.
Remember that you live on the Earth so you are not a Saint nor are you perfect so there is room for self improvement. Live your days on Earth being the best person you can be. Be accepting of people especially those who are different from you and treat everyone with respect.
Step 4: Become like Jesus
When you deal with people, do things or make decisions ask yourself "What would Jesus do?" When you are faced with difficult decisions or situtions think like Jesus.
If you live a good life and feel that you are a good person, you shouldn't be scared of judgement day. You should be happy to reach the gates of Heaven and be praised for you good behavior.
If you were a person who once did bad things and hung around bad people but then became saved, there is no need to fear judgement day. Once you accepted Jesus as your personal savior, all of your past behaviors were erased and will no longer be associated with you. God will look at your life after you were saved.
If you do bad things then yes you will and should worry about judgement day.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Only on Earth are we judged and labeled. We are given names like Autistic, Developmentally Delayed and Mentally Ill. We are called things like strange, weird, odd, crazy, slow, immature, etc... We are considered to have a problem or disorder. When we are not like everyone else we are considered not normal or not typical and people judge us and focus on our limitations or short comings.
God created each and everyone of us and gave us all a special talent, gift or skill to share with the world. So He values each and every one of us as a unique individual. He see focuses on our abilities and looks past our outward apperances and looks deep into our hearts. To the world you may be Autistic, Developmentally Delayed, Mentally Ill, Strange, Odd, Crazy or Slow but to God you are special.
Many of us did bad things in our past. We may have broke the law and went to jail or prison, we may have lied, cheated or stole to get what we wanted, we may have passed judgement on others, we may have gossiped or spreaded rumors about others, slept with a lot of different people or hung out with the wrong crowd. Because of our past behaviors people have branded us as a thief, an alcoholic, a drug attic, a liar, a gossip, a hoe or whore, a cheater, a gang member, a drug dealer, a problem child or a trouble maker. Even after we change and try to clean up our lives the bad things we have done continues to play on in people's head.
God does not hold on to our past, to him our past is what it is, our past. God looks deep into our hearts to see if we are truthful and if our hearts are in the right place. If it is, He will forgive us and only focus on our present and our future.
