Repent, Get Saved, What do it all mean?
Anyone, Anywhere, from Any Walk of Life Can Be Saved. If you are disabled or non-disabled, you can get saved. If you are addicted to drugs or alcohol, you can get saved. If you are a felon, ex-con or have a record, you can get saved. If you were abandoned, abused or nelected, you can get saved. If you are homeless, jobless, low-income or down on your luck, you can get saved. If you are middle-class, high-class or rich, you can get saved. God thinks that you are worthy of being saved, and I, Rev. Kim R. Goodman think you are worthy of being saved too!
John 3:3 tells us that in order to see the Kingdom of God a person must be born again.
Each one of us was created by a mother and father. Even if our mother or father didn't do their jobs as parents, they are still our Earthly creators. When we were born, we were born with innocent hearts that were pure.
We had a thirst for knowledge and needed to learn. But because we lived on Earth and was raised by sinners we were taught how to live by the ways of the world instead of by the ways of God. Because of this we becames sinners too.
Romans 3:23 tells us that we all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
and
Romans 6:23 tells us for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ.
This means that because we are sinners and we do bad things, our punnishment is we die. But because God cares about us he wants to save us so that once we die on Earth our spirit will live forever in Heaven.
Isaiah 53:6 tells us that we are like sheep who have wondered off. We have turned away from the ways of God and has followed the ways of the world because there are a lot of wicked or bad people in the world so to save us God created Jesus.
Matthew 1:21 tells us that Mary was to give birth to a son and to name Him Jesus because He (Jesus) will save people from their sins.
God created Jesus to save us because He loves us and wants us to go to Heaven.
Titus 3:5 tells us God wants to save us not because of the good things we have done but because of His mercy. Which means He care about us and would hate to see us suffer forever.
Why Should We Be Saved or Reborn?
God wants us to be born again so that we can be renewed by the Holy Spirit!
John 3:36 tells us that whoever believes in the Son will have eternal life, but those who reject the Son will not see life and will be punnished.
John 3:18 tells us that whoever believes in Jesus will not be punnished but whoever does not believe in Jesus will be punnished.
The question is: Do I want eternal life or do I want eternal punnishment?
John 8:24 tells us that you will die because of your sins if you do not believe in Jesus.
1 John 5: 11-12 tells us that God has given eternal life through His Son and if we believe this we will have life and if we don't believe this we won't have life.
Romans 5:6 tells us when we were powerless, Jesus died for us even though we were doing bad things.
So everyone should be saved or reborn because God created us and we were corrupted by the Earth and He created Jesus to be our savior. Jesus suffered for our sins long before we commited our sins. If we don't get saved we won't go to Heaven and have eternal life. We will be punnished instead.

There is only 1 way to get into Heaven!
Luke 13:3 tells us that if we don't repent, we will die.
(Repent means admit we do bad or have done bad things and ask for forgiveness)
John 3:16-17 tells us that God loves us all so much that He sent his only Son into the world to save us. All we have to do is believe in Him (the Son Jesus).
1 John 3:18 tells us Jesus suffered once for our sins, all our sins (good and bad people) to bring us (all of us) closer to God. It also tells us that Jesus's body was put to death but He was made alive by the Spirit.
1 Peter 2:24 tells us that Jesus was punnished by being nailed to the cross. He didn't sin so He took the punnishment for us (all of us). The wounds He suffered was punnishment for our sins and if we believe this we will be healed.
Romans 5:8 tells us Jesus died for us while we was still sinners.
The Bible was written a long time ago so in our case Jesus died for us before we begin to sin.
Hewbrews 9:28 tells us Jesus was sacrificed once to take away our sins and will appear a second time to bring salvation to those who are waiting.
Salvation means saving from harm, evil or sin.
Acts 4:12 tells us salvation is found in no one else but Jesus so only Jesus can save us.
All of this tells us that God created His Son to save us because He loves us. Even though we do bad things sometimes, Jesus sacrificed himself. He took the blame for our sins. All he asks is that we believe in our hearts that He did this for us and we will be saved by Jesus.
To get saved we must REPENT! We must admit that we are sinners (we do bad things) and ask for forgiveness!
Romans 10:9 tells us if we declare with our mouth, that "Jesus is Lord" and believe in our heart that God raised him from the dead, then you will be saved.
1 John 1:9 tells us if we confess our sin, our sins will be forgiven and we will be purified from all unrighteousnes.
Roman 10:13 tells us that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
It is important that when we repent, we are honest. People focus on words that are spoken but God focus on what is in your heart.
1 John 1:8 tells us if we claim that we are not sinners, we are lying to ourselves.
1 John 1:10 tells us that if we claim that we have not sinned, we make God out to be a liar and his word will not be alive in us.
Hewbrews 10:16-17 tells us if we admit that we are sinners and believe that Jesus is our savior then God will put His words in our hearts and minds and our sins will be forgiven.
You must also understand what being born again mean. Being born again is about overcoming sin, learning the word of God and growing spiritually. You cannot be born again by just being baptized, joining a church, trying to do better, quitting your bad habits or donating to churches or charity. To be saved you MUST accept Jesus. There is no other way.
Anyone can get saved. People look at others and judge them by their outwards appearance. People will look and the way you act, dress or look and judge you by that. God look past your outwards appearance and look at what is in your heart.
So if you are physically disabled, developmentally disabled, mentally ill, addicted to drugs or alcohol, homosexual, someone with a felony record, homeless...etc... God doesn't care, He still cares about you. After all He created you.
No matter who you are, no matter what you have done and no matter what you are doing right now, you can still repent.
If you would like to get saved RIGHT NOW, confess with your mouth (say it out loud).
There is no proper prayer of repentance listed in the Bible.
You can use the words below or use your own words to repent by following the directions in (parentheses).
Lord Jesus, Heavenly Father, (Call out the names of both the Father and Son)
I know that I am a sinner, I've done bad things (admit you are a sinner)
Jesus, I believe in my heart that you died on the cross for my sins.
Lord God, I believe that you raised Jesus from the dead. (show them both that you believe what Jesus did for you)
Jesus, please forgive me for all of my sins, I'm sorry I did bad things. Please give me Eternal life. (ask for forgiveness)
I need you as my personal savior and as a friend.
Come into my heart Lord God, I need you as my Father Guide me, teach me and help me. I want to follow you, Help me to be the person you want me to be. (ask for help)
I give you full control of my life from this day forward I pray in the name of Jesus Christ -Amen
Congradulations, You are Saved!
Remember today because it is the day that you were born again.
Romans 10:10 tells us because you believe in your heart that Jesus is your savior and confessed with your mouth, you are saved.
Ephesians 2:8 tells us it is by grace and through faith that you have been saved and it is a gift from God.
1 Peter 1:23 tells us now that you are born again you are no longer a perishable seed, now you are imperishable through the word of God.
I am Saved, now what?????
